We could write some things on our site that sound great, but we figured you’d rather hear it straight from the horses mouth 🙂

Here’s some of our favorites
We took some guests for a morning ride and fell in love with the staff and the horses. Uncle Pete is wonderful. The staff is all volunteers and are all knowledgeable of the trails and horses. The horses are all well trained and come from various backgrounds; therapy, racing, show, etc. They also offer varying degrees of difficulty based on your riding capability. The views are stunning and the ranch and trails are well maintained. We will be going back for another ride or ten and will be volunteering ourselves soon! Thanks for such a great time everyone!Sara
One of the best adventures we had in Oahu. Well trained horses and caring staff who gave clear instructions and guidance. We are first time horse riders and felt liked seasoned riders once we were done. You cannot beat the beauty of nature on this trail far away from any urbanization. Definitely a 5 Star experience for me and my wife!Tom
This is our first time here, but we’ll definitely be back for sure!! It was sooooo much fun!!
Our guides were Raven, Misty, and Kawena. They were super friendly & patient with first timers, as well. They are very thorough explaining how to control the horse & reminding those who forget. They also provided bottled water if you didn’t bring your own.
The views from the trails are amazing!! They stop to take photos of your group at the scenic point. They did mountain view & ocean view, then any other photos you’d like.
I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves horseback riding, whether you’re a beginner or seasoned rider!!
I recommend that anyone who needs to use the restroom go to the church/rec area before taking the drive up the dirt road, because that’s where the restrooms are.Diana
Horseback Oahu Reviews
“Just did the sunrise tour this morning and we loved it!! I’ve been wanting to go horseback riding for a while now but didn’t want to go to any of the super mainstream tours and I’m glad we settled on Ohikilolo. Plus it’s great to know your money is going towards a smaller local company instead of somewhere thats inundated with tourists year round. The guides were helpful, knowledgeable and attentive and even kind enough to provide us with bottled water! The views were beautiful as well and I absolutely adored my horse. She was such a sweetheart – gentle and intuitive but strong. I’ve gone on one tour in the past (not here) and the horse kept banging my legs into trees and thorn bushes no matter how hard I tried to steer her, I didn’t have this problem at all with my horse at Ohikilolo! In fact I kind of wished I got to hang around for a minute afterwards and say bye to my horse with a little bit of petting and maybe even feed her a little bit but I don’t think they do that here haha! I would DEFINITELY come back and hope to soon and would love to book a longer tour next time! I think it would be nice if there were an even earlier tour since this one is actually after sunrise and it might be cool to watch the sun rise as you ride up the mountain. Also loved the mascot pups that accompanied us on our ride. Anyways, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”
